Red Runner Roaches, also called Turkestan Roaches, originate from Central Asia and the Middle East.

Red Runners are highly nutritious due to their high meat-to-shell ratio, containing 37% protein and 6% fat, making them nutritionally comparable to crickets.

They are known to be exceptionally high in vitamin B12

Adult males can 'fly,' so they must be kept in a screen-top container. They grow rapidly when kept between 85 and 90°, but can remain at their current size for quite a while at 70°. These roaches breed quickly, with each female producing 100 babies monthly.

They are easily gut-loaded when fed Repashy Bug Burger, which contains high protein and calcium.
